Our history

HOW DID WE GET HERE

Technical and Communications Team S.A., ETICSA, began operations in 1988, with the aim of providing the national environment with Reliable Technology Solutions.

Since the end of 1994, ETICSA specializes in the area of Networks and Connectivity, transforming itself into an engineering company, aimed at satisfying the needs of higher speed communications networks, through the installation of advanced equipment for voice and data communication , the design and implementation of modern electrical supply wiring systems aimed at powering the computational networks and other network resources.

As of 2001, the specialty of Electronic Security (Physics) is incorporated, which includes access control systems, closed circuit television (CCTV), fire detection and extinction systems. By 2003, all this expertise and specialized knowledge allow us to position ourselves successfully in the Design, Development and Support of Data Centers, Computer Rooms and Control Rooms.

Since 2005, ETICSA also maintains an area of Research and Development, whose objective is to generate innovations in both the Services and the Products offered. This area was able to develop, among others, a video surveillance system, which has been very successful and allowed ETICSA to award the Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) project for the Transantiago buses. Both Digital Video Recorders (DVR), video cameras, camera support and boxes to hide them were designed and manufactured especially for this application. The year 2007 incorporates into its offer «Outsourcing Services» supporting the daily work of our customers. For the year 2009, Eticsa adds to its specialization Control Room solutions to cooperate with the efficiency and strategy of demanding clients.

ETICSA in the constant search for the improvement of our processes, has the ISO 9001: 2008 and the Nch 2909 certification.

ISO 9001 is an international standard that applies to quality management systems (QMS) and focuses on all the elements of quality management that a company must have in order to have an effective system that allows it to manage and improve The quality of your products or services.

For this we commit ourselves to always have availability of competent technical personnel to cover the services and projects with response time and adequate solution to satisfy the requirements of our clients.

To this end, ETICSA maintains and continuously improves its quality management system based on the ISO 9001 standard and, additionally, undertakes to comply with the management requirements of NCh 2909. Likewise, we are already working to homologate ourselves with the ISO 22301 standard for the continuity of the business and in this way add more value to our customers.
